Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

I love Vice City so much, its the only GTA game I ever finished, and the one soundtrack I always keep in the car. Is it because I have a love affair with 80s music? Perhaps, but you will be hard pressed to find a better collection of "Best of the 80s" anywhere else.

Grand Theft Auto III

GTA III had a lot of custom music and as such, the playlists for this one is very limited. Also, some stuff, like Flashback is just tracks of Scarface soundtrack. It's a good selection, but no Vice City.

Grand Theft Auto IV & Episodes from Liberty City

A few playlist posts upcoming. Rockstar has released a full set of playlists that feature every radio station in all their games on Spotify. That is so pure game music that I need to make a few posts about it.

So, lets start off with GTA IV and its episodes

Army of Two - The Devils Cartel

Forgot a few last time around, lets have a second look, Army of Two, Chaos Theory, Serious Sam, yup, lots of new releases.

Gears of War + Defience + Battlfield = I must have been gone a while

Not been posting in a while, somewhat due to lack of content, but also lack of time. But I am back now, and there has been a lot of new releases since I last posted, so lets get the fresh stuff out first.

Top 10 Video Game Cover Bands!

What are the best video game cover bands out there? Well, since taste is subjective and the true quality of music cannot be measured in any objective way, this will forever be a question left unresolved. However, I have made a list here of the bands that I think are the best video game cover bands on Spotify.

I actually had to drop a bunch of bands and I feel sort of bad for those guy, maybe I'll make another post like this if this one works out.

Tomb Raider and more Double Fine!

Today I learned two things, Tomb Raider soundtrack is out on Spotify, and NIN did not make the soundtrack for all versions of Quake. Apparently Aubrey Hodges made the one for N64.

Its good, but well, being a NIN fan I can't say its better.

We also have Middle Manager of Justice and The Cave, both excellent games from Double Fine

Mixed bag

So, I have a backlog of stuff here that I don't really know what to do with. They are not proper soundtracks, nor are they cover bands per say.

Some of these are standalone albums from people who make a lot of game music, and some, well frankly I don't know, but they are all game related somehow.

Make of it what you will

SimCity

Lots of good stuff today! Starting off we have SimCity, a game I am currently playing (no issues with the servers, yay!). Dead Island soundtrack finally game out, old classic with Jurassic Park, and even Metal Gear soundtrack.

Enjoy!

So much Legend of Zelda

Do you like the music in Legend of Zelda? Yes? Do I have a post for you!

This is a small sampling of different covers of the Legend of Zelda soundtrack that I found on Spotify, enjoy.

(If you want, all the links below are collected in this playlist that I made)
