Fez, Don't Starve, Remember Me and more

Another day, another post.

I'm actually really interested in The Shivah after listening to the soundtrack. It looks like Papers please or Cart Life, but in the SCUMM Engine. Also, its 8 years old now, so super retro.

Saints Row IV - Soundtrack

Saints Row IV Soundtrack

Whats this? I'm posting upcoming game soundtracks now?

Yea, so the Soundtrack for Saints Row IV appeared on the internet. I don't know how well I trust the source. There are some songs in there that I cannot find at all, and the only reference to them is the Saint's Row IV soundtrack, so that sounds dubious.

I will be tracking up on this once the game releases and I can verify every song, but until that time, please enjoy. (Also, if you did not notice, I have Saints Row The Third and Saints Row 2 posted as well)

The Last of Us and more

Been going through the blog and updating some stuff, removed a lot of dead links, updated the ones I could and tried to make the formatting a bit more cohesive from start to finish, so that is why I have not updated this blog in ages, also, yea lazy.

Anyway, a new batch of music, starting of with the fantastic game, The Last of Us.

Random Encounter

I said that Random Encounter was the 4th best game cover band on Spotify, but have yet to make a post about them. I guess this post will correct that problem.

I stumbled upon Random Encounter via the Similar Artist tab on Spotify about 2 years ago, and I have been a huge fan since. Its actually a wonder that I had not heard of them before as they are one of the more famous cover bands out there.

Musically they fit snugly in the genera of progressive folk-indie rock, in the sub-genre of video game music, and can be quickly recognized by their frequent use of the accordion and Russian feel. (They are from Orlando, Florida, don't be fooled)

Visit their official band page here: http://randomencounterband.com/

And their stuff on Spotify below:

Another batch of smaller titles

Another day, another set of game releases on Spotify

Dead Island Riptide and Star Command

Another round of releases, Pawel Blaszczak does good work with the Riptides soundtrack, even if the reviewers did not really agree with the title.

More from Paradox and other new releases

Ok, so back from the playlists mayhem. With GTA, Saints Row and Sleeping dogs down, lets head back to some bread and butter stuff: New Spotify releases. Today we have Paradox with Leviathan Warships, Call of Duty soundtrack, Super Hexagon as well as a whole host of other stuff.

Sleeping Dogs - Playlists

Saints Row: The Third

Saints Row: The Third has a a bit less music than is predecessor, but the quality remains high. The complete list is missing, but overall, I think we ended up less missing songs in this list due to 105.0 channels being cut, and that was the major problem with Saints Row 2.

Anyway, please enjoy:

Saints Row 2 Soundtrack

I was inspired by Rockstar and their GTA playlists release and I figured that Saints Row had a good soundtrack as well. No such luck with Volition and Saints Row, so I made my own, please enjoy.

Note: The 105 channels are very limited. Spotify is not that great with World and Easy Listening music as it is with 80s hits and Classical music.

Due to this, I have made the playlists collaborative, if you find the missing songs, please feel free to update the playlist.
